2017 Game 2: Savage Grizzlies 18, Fighter Spiders 13

Game 2 of the HIGFFL 2017 regular season was a matchup between rivals the Fighter Spiders (in blue) and the Savage Grizzlies (in gray). Here’s the play-by-play:

The entire first half was a defensive showdown with the a score on Brandon's catch for the Grizzlies. Extra point no good. 1 minute to go in the half: Grizzlies 6, Spiders 0.

And as time was running out in the low-scoring first half, the Grizzlies get a pick-6 from Brandon. Extra points fail. Score at the half: Grizzlies 12, Spiders 0.

The Fighter Spiders score their first points of the season with a Ty rush into the endzone. Michael catches the extra point. Grizzlies 12, Spiders 7.

After several 4 and out exchanges, the Grizzlies increase their lead to 18-7 with Lee's catch and 30 yard run. Extra point no good.

The very next play saw Michael catch a Ty throw and run 40 yards for 6. Extra point is no good. Score: Grizzlies 18, Spiders 13.
